Update E-Coupons Validity when Duration of Stay is Modified

Stay is enhanced to automatically update the validity and availability of e-coupons when the reservation stay dates are modified.

When users extend or shorten the duration of a reservation, the validity of both the non-loyalty and loyalty e-coupons associated with the reservation are adjusted dynamically based on the following:

• The updated stay dates, and

• The coupon configuration (per stay or per day) or

E-Coupons

Per Stay Coupons

• When the reservation duration is extended, the e-coupon will be available for use on the additional dates, subject to the configured valid date range.

• When the reservation duration is shortened, the e-coupon will remain valid only for the remaining reservation dates.

Per-Day Coupons

• When the reservation duration is extended, the e-coupon will be added for the additional dates in the Future Use status.

• When the reservation duration is shortened, the e-coupon will be removed from the cancelled dates.

The addition or removal of coupons for modified nights will depend on the valid date range configured in the e-coupon setup.

Early Departure and Moved Reservations

• For early departures, the Future Use coupons will remain until the property date roll, after which they will be removed automatically.

• When a reservation is moved to another property, all the available and Future Use e-coupons will be removed from the reservation.
